Our Holocaust Memorial Tour is Ideal for Survivors, Teachers, and Students

Join us on this educational journey to the most significant Holocaust memorial sites in Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic. Alpventures® Holocaust Memorial Tour begins in Munich, Germany where we explain the events leading to Adolf Hitler's meteoric rise to power with an emphasis on the Holocaust. We also offer insight to Nazi connections with the old Germanic Orders and Occult groups, like the Thule Society. We will visit Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site, the first Nazi concentration camp built under Hitler, and one of five that we will visit on the Tour. We continue to Nuremberg, to show you the locations of the infamous Nazi Party Rallies. The annual propaganda spectacles were used as powerful tools of mass manipulation, and we will discuss the effects of German propaganda and the Holocaust during our visit to the Nuremberg Documentation Center. We will spend two days exploring historical sites in the Czech Republic, including a visit to the spot where Reinhard Heydrich was assassinated in Prague. Our Holocaust Memorial Tour takes you to the former Theresienstadt Concentration Camp, site of the Terezin Ghetto; before heading into the mountains of southern Poland. Next, we will visit Hitler's forgotten bunkers, deep underground passages, that were part of the Nazi secret "Riese" project. We will spend a sobering day visiting the museum, memorials and crematoria at Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camps. We will have two days in beautiful Krakow; where we will visit many sites connected to Oscar Schindler, such as the former Emalia Enamel Factory that was run by Schindler during World War II. We will also enjoy two days in fascinating Warsaw, to discover the story of its past and the echoes of its uprisings. We will finish our Holocaust Memorial Tour with a scenic drive back to Berlin, where we will wrap-up our historical journey and spend our last evening together enjoying our farewell dinner and reflecting on our travels.

"I just wanted to thank you again for all your hard work you put into the Tour. You make it all look effortless. You bring History alive and no matter what the subject, you make it interesting. You pay such attention to detail and the group's safety while traveling - from checking our flights to taking us right to the line we need to check in at - I don't know of any other tour company or guide that would do that."
