Experience the 1942 Air Raid Reenactment, and discover one of the greatest mysteries of World War II. Learn what really happened on February 25, 1942 as you relive that famous night in Los Angeles...
Do you want to know the true story of the Battle of Los Angeles? Only weeks after the deadly attack on Pearl Harbor - in the early morning hours of February 25, 1942 - something appeared in the skies over Los Angeles. The coastal defenses in the area fired nearly 1,500 rounds of artillery for almost an hour trying to bring the object down, but it hovered in the sky until it finally disappeared off the coast of Long Beach. Was it a UFO? Was it a weather balloon? Or was it just a case of "jittery nerves," as the U.S. Secretary of War proclaimed?
Join us in February 2012 for an exclusive 70th Anniversary Tour event, and enjoy three fun-filled days of World War II History, Reenactment and Entertainment!
