Experience the 1942 Air Raid Reenactment, and discover one of the greatest mysteries of World War II. Learn what really happened on February 25, 1942 as you relive that famous night in Los Angeles...

Do you want to know the true story of the Battle of Los Angeles? Only weeks after the deadly attack on Pearl Harbor - in the early morning hours of February 25, 1942 - something appeared in the skies over Los Angeles. The coastal defenses in the area fired nearly 1,500 rounds of artillery for almost an hour trying to bring the object down, but it hovered in the sky until it finally disappeared off the coast of Long Beach. Was it a UFO? Was it a weather balloon? Or was it just a case of "jittery nerves," as the U.S. Secretary of War proclaimed?

Join us in February 2012 for an exclusive 70th Anniversary Tour event, and enjoy three fun-filled days of World War II History, Reenactment and Entertainment! Spend three fun-filled nights aboard The Queen Mary® Hotel, where you feel the history all around you. Visit many of the original historical sites from the Battle of Los Angeles, and experience the exciting reenactment of The Great Los Angeles Air Raid of 1942 at the Fort Macarthur Museum. Enjoy a Guided Tour of an original World War II Coastal Gun Battery that defended the city during the war, and spend one evening relaxing in the nostalgic ambiance of Maxwell Demille's retro Cicada Club. Discover one of the greatest mysteries of World War II and much more on our exciting and original Battle of Los Angeles Tour.
